While we have been able to expect around two big games out of Capcom a year, the company would like to try to double that number. According to a report from Nikkei’s web edition (via Andriasang), the company will be trying to achieve this by making use of international outsourcing. Capcom plans to greatly reduce development time by outsourcing work to North American and European studios. Whether this will ultimately work still remains to be seen, however, we just hope it won’t have an adverse effect on the quality of Capcom’s major releases.  |
