Mega Man and Mega Man X are in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, in every form but playable character form. That’s right; two characters have Mega Man costumes in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Zero has a costume modeled off of X’s armor from Mega Man X1, and an alternate DLC costume that gives him a new model that looks exactly like armorless X. And when I say exactly I mean exactly , as in this would be the model MMX would have if he were in the game. 
To top it off, Mega Man shows up in more than one character ending, with new ending cameos being discovered all the time. He also appears on a Days of Future Past poster on the Days of Future Past stage, taking up Wolverine’s slot as the only character not apprehended or killed. Finally, Zero has a new win quote, which reads as follows “If X were here, he would have tried to talk things out first. Unfortunately for you, X isn’t here.” So there’s a lot of Mega Man in UMvC.
