Borderlands 2 has received holiday themed DLC for both Halloween and Thanksgiving, so of course it would eventually get DLC for Christmas as well. The new DLC pack, named How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day , will be released on December 17 th . It tasks you to kill a giant animated snowman in an area called Frost Bottom. There is also a carol-singing bandit, dangerous Christmas trees, and cups full of what may be holiday cheer, or maybe poison.
Defeating the snowman, Mister Tinder Snowflake, unlocks a new character head for each class, as well as unique Christmas themed costumes. You can put the Psycho in a horrible Christmas sweater! Sweet!
The DLC will be released across all Borderlands 2 platforms at the same time. Pick it up for the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PS3 for only $2.99.
