Saints Row IV is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Volition and published by Deep Silver. The game was first released on August 20, 2013, but Saints Row IV has been released on new consoles in 2015 and 2021. How the Saints Save Christmas Premise
How the Saints Save Christmas adds three new Christmas-themed missions and two new activities to Saints Row IV. In these missions, players receive a warning from the future that Santa Claus has been turned into a Christmas-hating monster called Clawz. The only way to save Santa, and by extension, Christmas, is to go into the past and free Santa from a brainwashing simulation. It’s a nonsensical chaos time that’s perfect for Saints Row.

How the Saints Save Christmas Main Character
Just like in Saints Row IV, players will take control of a customizable character known as the Boss. At the beginning of the DLC, all of the members of the Saints Row gang are celebrating Christmas and decorating their base, except for the Boss. The playable character is a Grinch about Christmas and does believe in Santa. Over the course of the DLC, the Boss gains a Christmas spirit and learns to love the holiday.
How the Saints Save Christmas Series
The Saints Row series has been going strong ever since 2006 when the first game was released. Since then, there have been a total of six different Saints Row games that have all been developed by Volition. How the Saints Save Christmas is the second mission pack for Saints Row IV. The first mission pack, Enter the Dominatrix, is an alternate retelling of the Zin invasions where a rogue A.I. takes over the Steelport simulation.
