Square Enix has announced that soon you’ll be able to play your favorite Final Fantasy classics with Amazon Fire TV. This is sweet news because Fire TV users now have a convenient method to play all of their favorite Final Fantasy games on the big screen, using any of their favorite console controllers (or using Amazon’s gaming controller). Final Fantasy III – VI are getting the Fire TV treatment, and if you’ve already purchased any of these games through the Amazon App Store, there will be a free update to render them Fire TV ready.
If you’ve been considering brushing up on the classics, now would be a great time to jump in as Square Enix will be offering each of these games at half-price over the next few weeks. Prices for each game will be reduced on the Amazon App Store from $16 to $8 during the following periods: Oct 29 – Nov 5 for III, Nov 5-12 for IV, Nov 12-19 for V, and Nov 19-26 for VI. These special prices will available to all Android users through the Amazon App store, even if you’re not playing the games through Fire TV.
