Coffee Stain Studios, most known for the recently released Goat Simulator , announced today that they are publishing their next game, A Story About My Uncle . The game is being developed by newly formed studio, Gone North Games, and it will be released May 28, 2014.
A Story About My Uncle is a first-person adventure game that tells the story of a boy who goes on a journey to find his uncle. He falls onto one of many floating islands, and he swings from one island to the next with a special glove.
As the trailer depicts, A Story About My Uncle looks exhilarating. There won’t be any combat, but the creature at the end of the trailer does look menacing. The game also looks like it will be a more serious effort compared to Goat Simulator .
A Story About My Uncle began as a university project, and I can see why the Goat Simulator studio picked it up. It looks exhilarating to grapple from one floating island to the next. But you can see for yourselves by checking out the trailer.
