While companies tend to prefer to keep DLC characters under wraps, sometimes secrets slip out. That appears to have happened with Mortal Kombat 11 . Even though the game has only just made its debut, people already have an idea of who who could be joining he cast. How did it happen? Datamining.
A dataminer going by the name PikachuIzGod posted their findings on the Mortal Kombat Leaks subreddit. By looking through Mortal Kombat 11 ‘s code and data, conversations involving three possible DLC characters was found. Each one seems incredibly plausible, and the information shown is enlightening.
Here’s your spoiler warning! The three possible fighters will be revealed below!
It looks like Image Comics’ Spawn, DC Comics’ Joker, Evil Dead ‘s Ash, and the Terminator will all be joining Mortal Kombat 11 as DLC. Conversations involving all three were found in the game’s files. Data showing conversations between Joker and Spawn, Joker and the Terminator, Raiden and Spawn, and Spawn and Ash all have appeared.
Here are the conversations:
Joker: “What’s your name, beautiful boy?”
Spawn: “Call me Spawn.”
Joker: “Well, Spawn, that’s a lovely cape. You look like a hugger, bring it in!”
Spawn: “I’ll turn you inside-out ass-first, clown.”
Joker: “I love it when they talk dirty.”
Joker: “Y’know, you remind me of Bats.”
Terminator: “Who?”
Joker: “Just another jerk with no sense of humor. Would it kill you to smile?”
Terminator: “That is beyond my programming.”
Joker: “Such a party pooper.”
Ash: “You don’t look like the demons I know.”
Spawn: “Think of me as Hell’s avenging angel.”
Ash: “This is because I read the book, isn’t it? Fancy leathers. Who’s your tailor?”
Spawn: “How’d you like to wear that smile on your ass?”
Ash: “Hard pass. I only wear American denim.”
Raiden: “You remind me of another Dark Knight.”
Spawn: “The Billion-Dollar Crusader? He’s a friend.”
Raiden: “It seems we are both well traveled, Hellspawn of the Eighth Sphere.”
Spawn: “Show me your dark side.”
Raiden: “You shall not pass!”
Well, I guess this means CheatCC’s April Fools’ story about Joker joining Mortal Kombat 11 isn’t such a long shot after all! Perhaps it was a prophesy all along.
