Now that Bungie has patched out the original loot cave in Destiny , players have been on the lookout for another one, and it looks like a group called Ministry of Geeks has done so. It’s less of a loot cave and more of a loot stairway, but the premise is the same. There is a spawn point that you can stand a certain distance out of the way in order to make sure that enemies spawn constantly. They spawn at about the same rate as they did in the original treasure cave.
The only problem is that every seven to ten minutes, a drop ship drops off enemies that prevent the stair enemies from spawning. You can hear it in the background, and when it comes you have to run up the stairs, kill the dropped off enemies, and then resume farming. Unfortunately, this makes it slower than the original loot cave.
Of course, it’s only a matter of time before Bungie patches out this loot cave too which… is kind of disappointing. It’s pretty obvious that players enjoy spots like this, so why not give them their fun.
