DICE Contacts Battlefield 3 Beta Testers

None

If you’re one of the people who purchased Medal of Honor Limited Edition in order to gain access to the Battlefield 3 beta, get that victory dance ready; you’re about to be cooler than all of your friends.

Yesterday, DICE, the developer behind Battlefield 3, started contacting players who will be eligible to participate in the upcoming beta test. Testing for the first-person shooter will begin in September, but an exact date hasn’t been revealed.

The announcement comes only a week after EA invited a limited number of PC players to participate in the alpha test of the Operation Metro multiplayer map. “The Alpha is a closed test and by invitation only. If you’d like to have a chance to be called upon make sure to register for our newsletter and ensure your Veteran status is up to date” explains EA’s Battlefield Blog.

Those of us who did not purchase Medal of Honor Limited Edition will probably have to wait until Battlefield 3 is officially launched on October 25th.
