Disgraced Resident Evil Composer Threatened Suicide

As the tangled web of deceit surrounding famed Japanese composer Mamoru Samuragochi continues to unravel, we now learn even more disturbing details.

It was recently revealed that Samuragochi had not composed the iconic pieces he was so well known for, but rather ghost-writer Takashi Niigaki, who was in fact responsible for crafting much of what we’ve heard in the last decade. “He told me that if I didn’t write songs for him, he’d commit suicide.”Niigaki states, revealing just how far Samuragochi’s desperation ran.

While Niigaki also claims the composer may have lied about being deaf (suggesting he was able to communicate and understand him clearly at times), the Sochi Olympics have also played a key role in this unfolding drama. When it was revealed that figure skater Daisuke Takahashi would be preforming to “ Sonatina for Violin ,” Niigaki says he was forced to come forward. “I could not bear the thought of skater Takahashi being seen by the world as a co-conspirator in our crime.” he said.

We will continue to bring you more on this controversy as it develops.
