Disney Interactive Community Manager Allison Petrek has confirmed in a PlayStation blog post that Disney Infinity 3.0 is currently in development for PS4 and PS3. Along with this announcement came the official announcement that Star Wars characters will also appear in the game.
Some of these Star Wars themed play sets mentioned will include Twilight of the Republic , Rise Against the Empire , and The Force Awakens . More concrete details will be revealed at a later date.
It was only a matter of time before these iconic characters appeared in this game. Fans of both Disney and Star Wars will certainly be looking forward to this title when it launches later this year.
