Double Dragon is finally making its way to the iPhone, though probably not in the form you’d expect. Aksys Games, publisher of Guilty Gear and BIT.TRIP, have announced that they’re bringing DD to iPhone. It’s being developed by Japanese studio Brizo Interactive, who made an earlier version of the game for something called a Zeebo. We’ll assume it’s some sort of game console.  So the iPhone version should be a port, which it would have been at any rate. Pessimism aside, Double Dragon is an iconic title and should be entertaining in any form. A specific release date has not been announced, though a vague March release period was revealed. We’ll have more as it develops. |
