Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Coming Later This Year

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Coming Later This Year

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is one of those “sorry I’m not sorry” games that we’re ashamed to love. Yes, you look like a huge nerd with that box on your shelf, and yes, the game released to very mixed reviews, but dammit if we don’t get high on the ability to freely explore the world of Dragon Ball and take part in the series’ most defining moments with our own, custom-made, anime character. It’s a Dragon Ball fan’s dream game, and there’s more on the way.

Bandai Namco announced today that a sequel is coming. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming in 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game revolves around the same idea that drove its predecessor: explore “the most detailed Dragon Ball world ever developed” and protect the world of Dragon Ball past, present, and future. An official site is up where you can sign up for Bandai Namco’s newsletter, and we expect to hear a release date soon (at E3 at the very latest). In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer right here:
