With Vanillaware’s newest title, a 2D action-RPG called Dragon’s Crown , inching ever closer to its Vita and PlayStation 3 debut, Atlus has taken the opportunity to ramp the pre-order hype even further. Like many upcoming titles, pre-ordering the game will net you an art book, complete with commentary and illustrations. Atlus recently confirmed, however, that all pre-ordered copies will be eligible to receive a free DLC pack of narrator voices taken from its six characters, to be used for the game’s cutscenes and the like.
Granted, the DLC would normally go for a stark $1.99, but the idea of “Why not give players free DLC for putting faith (and their money) in our game?” is still a nice one to see.
