Quick question, do you remember what was going on in 1997? Michael Jordan was still playing for the Bulls, Bill Clinton was the President, Deep Blue defeated Garry Kasparov in chess, and development started on Duke Nukem Forever. While the longest developed title in history seemed as though it was done for when 3D Realms was disbanded last year, rumors are beginning to surface that the game is still being worked on. ![]() According to what some anonymous sources are reporting to Kotaku, not only is Duke Nukem Forever still being made, but there will be a demo for the game out later this year. This is supposedly the case because Gearbox, maker of Borderlands, has been put in charge of completing this long-running project. While everyone involved has declined to confirm or deny this rumor, here’s hoping it is true for all those fans that have been waiting on the title for thirteen years. |
