Overwatch still reigns supreme as one of the currently most popular online games. It receives regular updates and new additions which keeps the game feeling fresh. Most recently there’s been a much needed map addition that takes players back to one of the character’s past.
Winston originated from the Horizon Moonbase, which was a research facility that was eventually overthrown by the very subjects it tested on. Primate intelligence augmentation was their main focus, and this eventually lead to the researchers being pushed out. Winston could have sided with his fellow primates, but instead he joined humanity on Earth.
The Horizon Moonbase map allows players to see where Winston came from. It’s an assault type map with two capture points and a brief low-gravity area. The starting point includes a large telescope that is aimed towards Earth. As is the Overwatch way, this is the perfect opportunity to show off the different characters. They all apparently have something to say when they look at Earth.
If you’re most intrigued by the lower gravity portion of the Horizon Lunar Colony map, you’re in luck! Blizzard is including low-gravity options to custom games so you can play around with the feature. It’ll also be added to Arcade mode as a new brawl type temporarily.
