Blizzard has been celebrating their first Overwatch birthday recently, and the party won’t stop for a while yet. Seemingly in a continuing effort to celebrate the game and its popularity, Blizzard has released some interesting photos.
There was a post recently on the official Overwatch blog that showed a series of photos set to look like email messages from scientists. They’re stationed at the Horizon Lunar Colony and are talking about gorilla test subjects, including Winston. There is another main gorilla mentioned to be missing at the end of their tests named Hammond.
People are starting to theorize that these blog posts are teasing one of two things. There’s the possibility that this could be a set-up for the reveal of a new in-game character. That would be the other gorilla Hammond. It could also be the beginning of an announcement for new maps based on the Horizon Lunar Colony.
We’ll have to wait and see, so keep one eye peeled on the Overwatch blog and all of Blizzard’s other social accounts.
