There are a lot of different weapons in Fallout 4 , but there are no bows and arrows. I mean, what if you want to abandon modern technology completely? The Crossbows of the Commonwealth Fallout 4 mod by TrickyVein lets you be a little more low-key. It’s a totally new, unique weapon with its own modifications.
Once this Fallout 4 mod is installed, you can find them in the world, create them, and even catch Raiders using them. You’ll also be able to create bolts to use as ammunition, with these projectiles being reusable. That is, if one lands where you can retrieve it. There are different kinds of bolts and upgrades, with some examples showing a bayoneted or compound bow. You can even make flaming bolts.
To install the mod, you’ll probably want to use the Nexus Mods Mod Manager. There’s no official mod support for Fallout 4 just yet, so using a program like that will save you some trouble.
But really, how cool is it that people are already able to make things like original weapons, complete with upgrades and unique ammunition, and have them look like they’ve been part of Fallout 4 the whole time? Isn’t the modding community great?
