Fallout Goes 8-Bit to Attract Japanese Gamers

Fallout Goes 8-Bit to Attract Japanese Gamers

None

Bethesda launched a promotional site for their Fallout series which is set up to mimic an 8-Bit RPG. The site attempts to explain what a “Freestyle RPG” is, in hopes that Japanese gamers will try out a more Western role-playing experience.

The site looks great, especially for fans of all things 8-bit, but don’t expect to get much information from it unless you can read Japanese. Nonetheless, it’s always fun to see what our favorite games would have looked like if they had been made in the 1980s.
