In perhaps one of the weirdest teases for a video game ever, NAMCO Bandai has recently announced what appears to be something called All Star Battle. This news comes from a Japanese teaser site with a countdown (currently at 3 days) and the words “All Star Battle” pasted across it. The site is laid out in a grid and as time goes forward, more of the grids blocks are filled in with what I can only assume are preview images of the game. However, these images are rather odd, and they look more like found photography put together by some random art student. As of now, the preview site includes pictures of a city street, a shot of the sky, some sort of harbor or fort, a picture of the surface of water, an underwater picture of a wall, a picture of the ocean, what I think is a cow’s nose, a piece of bacon, and two striped somethings . Maybe snakes? Maybe some sort of lionfish? I don’t know.
