Heihachi Joins PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Heihachi Joins PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

None

At EVO this weekend, Sony revealed two more characters for their upcoming party fighter, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

The first is Heihachi from Tekken. Heihachi is a close-range fighter, and has much of his Tekken move-set in his PS All-Stars incarnation. In fact, some of his combos are actually converted precisely over to PS All-Stars control scheme. For example, players can utilize the light and hard attack buttons to execute some of his simple 1,1,2 strings from Tekken games past. He can even call on Kuma with his level 2 Super, and his level 3 Super lets him strap his opponents to a rocket and launch them into space!

The second character revealed at EVO was Toro, the white cat who serves as a sort of PlayStation mascot over in Japan. Toro’s moves weren’t elaborated on, but he appears to be wearing a Gi similar to the one he wore in his Street Fighter X Tekken appearance. Maybe this means we will be seeing some Capcom cameos after all, especially since their rival NAMCO Bandai has lent Heihachi to the mix.

We will give you more information on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale as it becomes available.
