Forgive my language, but Final Fantasy XV is a sausage fest. You go through the whole game following Noctis and his buddies Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto. There are women in the game, like Cindy and Lunafreya, but we don’t get to play as them. But, we may get an option to play as Lunafreya as DLC.
JeuxVideo spoke with Haruyoshi Sawatari, Final Fantasy XV’ s producer, about the game and DLC. In the interview, he noted that if demand is there, Lunafreya may get to be the star of an add-on. But, he also said Square Enix isn’t currently working on one.
I think getting to play as Lunafreya only makes sense. We saw in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV that she’s capable of handling herself in a fight. I can’t imagine she’d be passive during the game’s main adventure. Here’s hoping she gets her moment!
