In a brief interview with Examiner on Wednesday, July 2, Playground Games’ creative director Ralph Fulton took a moment to discuss some of the various features that’ll be included in Forza Horizon 2 , one of which is Kinect support.
The Kinect support in question is something the development team behind Forza Horizon’s sequel is “ still really excited about ” including into the game.
The feature, named “ANNA”, will be a digital AI that’ll be your personal assistant and navigator when playing Forza Horizon 2 .
“ [The Kinect] offers opportunities we wouldn’t normally otherwise have. We don’t currently have it plugged in to demonstrate today, but Kinect will be involved with a feature called ANNA, ” Fulton told Examiner . “ She is your digital personal assistant and navigation in the game. She is also very intelligent and will suggest things to do in the game and give you a recap when you return to the games. She will also alert you when friends are online. ”
Forza Horizon 2 was announced in early June for Xbox 360 and Xbox One , before this year’s E3 event in Los Angeles. Furthermore, according to a recent interview, Fulton explained that the Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 will be a different game than the Xbox One version, but they will both be “ inspired by the same ideas. ”
