Fox News Copies Bioshock Infinite Logo

Fox News Copies Bioshock Infinite Logo

Fox & Friends has recently revealed a new logo for a segment called Defending the Homeland , which is a segment about immigration and its effects on the country. Here’s a hint, they don’t look on it too favorably. The interesting thing here is that the new segments logo looks almost exactly like the logo from Bioshock Infinite . It’s the same shape, same rusted out paint, same star pattern on the bottom, and everything. The only real difference are the size of the letters and the fact that the American flag on the bottom isn’t torn.

There is a certain degree of irony that a logo for a game that portrays a society of religious and political zealotry used as pretense for xenophobia and racism is being used for a segment that is, basically, stressing opinions that are very anti-immigration, just like the society of Columbia. Ken Levine, the creator of the game, remarked sarcastically by saying, “Glad to help, Fox. Glad to help.”
