Furi Hacking Its Way Onto Xbox One

Furi Hacking Its Way Onto Xbox One

Furi was one of the many surprise indie hits of 2016. Released back in July on PC and on PS4 as a free PS Plus game, Furi is a tough-as-nails bullet-hell boss-rush-slasher hybrid. Did you get all of that? If it sounds intense, it totally is. Late-game bosses are crushingly difficult and Furi ‘s grit-synth soundtrack will keep you on edge. It also features art direction from Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki, which fans of the series will recognize immediately.

Masochistic Xbox One gamers have been looking on in envy since July as the rest of us squeezed our controllers in rage or otherwise shouted in victory, but they should be glad to know that Furi is headed to the Xbox One… someday. It’s definitely coming, but The Game Bakers haven’t divulged a release date yet. We do know that the Xbox One version will come with some exclusive content and a brand new boss, so that should make up for the wait. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we learn more.
