Last week, Crawl developer Barney Cumming revealed in a blog post that Valve boss Gabe Newell is scheduled to appear as a secret boss in their game. He added that he was anxious to start animating the character and provided this gif to give fans an early idea of what to expect from the in-game boss.
Crawl is best described as an indie roguelike dungeon-crawler where one player controls the hero while other players take on the roles of various monsters. The game is currently available for PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam Early Access.
I personally think that their decision to include Gabe in the game is awesome and I definitely plan on downloading the title soon. This move shows a fun side to the development process and I fully expect several fans to enjoy this aspect of the game.
