Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world action-adventure game released on December 7, 2023. It is available for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Windows. This addition to James Cameron’s universe was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.
This game has received mixed or “average” reviews from most critics. This game is so fresh, that it has yet to be considered for any gaming awards. It is praised for its stunning visual achievement of bringing Pandora to life and its rich narrative.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Premise
A little over fifteen years before the main part of the game, The Ambassador Program (TAP) abducted children from the Sarentu Clan. This event also takes place eight years before the first Avatar film. TAP was a project formed by the Resources Development Administration (RDA), the big bad that was trying to colonize Pandora for its resources in the first movie.
Now freed from their clutches, players must go on a journey across the Western Frontier of Pandora in a mission of both self-discovery and uniting the Na’vi clans against the RDA. The RDA is back to tie loose ends, including eliminating the protagonist. Players commune with their Na’vi ancestors, destroy RDA facilities and drill sites, team up with other clans, and uncover traitors all in a journey to save both your people and your planet.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Main Character
In this open-world adventure, players take control of the “Frontier’s Protagonist” in this game. Although the Na’vi protagonist is depicted as female in all of the promotional material and the game cover, players may choose to have a more masculine voice and body.
The Frontier’s Protagonist used to have a mother named Kataru and an older sister known as Aha’ri. Before the Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains (the final battle in the first Avatar movie), the Frontier’s Protagonist was abducted along with other children from their clan by TAP. Their mother was killed by TAP when she tried to stop them from taking the children. In 2146, Aha’ri was killed when she convinced the kidnapped children to rebel. During the Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains, the protagonist was in cryosleep. Fifteen years later, the protagonist is woken up and becomes a part of the Resistance.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Series
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a standalone game with no prequels or sequels at this time. But while it is not a direct sequel, it is the second official video game for the franchise. The first is James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, iOS, Android, Java ME, and Symbian^3.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora takes place in the same timeline as the Avatar movies. It is even technically canon to the movie franchise, with James Cameron saying it “co-exists” with the Avatar movies.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Cheat Code FAQ
Does Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have cheat codes?
No, a built-in cheat code system is unavailable for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but any of the online cheat trainers can be downloaded for the PC version of the game. These cheat trainers can grant Unlimited Health, Godmode, Unlimited Grenades, and more!
What is the difference between cheat codes and cheat trainers?
They both give players some sort of advantage in the game, whether they make their speed runs faster or to make the game more accessible to them. But cheat codes are built into the game by the developers. What many people don’t know is that cheat codes were originally a tool by developers to make game testing easier. With the gaming industry becoming so large, cheat codes are no longer needed and are becoming less frequent in new titles.
Cheat trainers are external tools that are made by third parties to be downloaded. Since cheat trainers can be made by almost anyone, they can even be seen as the more accessible option. They have more options for what they can do than your usual cheat code. Players can adjust the speed of the game, camera speed, and other things that can make it difficult for certain players.
