Xbox 360 owners haven’t really been able to take advantage of the Originals feature yet. That’s because there has been such a dearth of support. Happily, that will soon change. Microsoft has announced the inclusion of Ninja Gaiden: Black, Criterion’s Black, and Sid Meier’s Pirates! The games all have garnered critical acclaim and are slated to release on Monday, February 11th. These premium Originals will cost 1200 Microsoft Points.
Ninja Gaiden: Black is rated M for mature and is known for its amazing difficulty. This was one of the very best titles for the Xbox and is worth purchasing if you’ve never experienced it. There is no word as to whether the Hurricane Packs 1 & 2 will be included; they provided additional content such as new enemies and bosses.
Black is also rated M for Mature. It was a cinematic shooter that rewarded players for their sheer brutality and destructiveness. This is a good title for those that like blow things up and ask questions later.
Sid Meier’s Pirates! bucks the trend and is rated T for Teen. This fun title from the master developer is actually a remake of Sid Meier’s original swashbuckling game. Pirates! Was a whole lot of fun for the Xbox because the speeds and pace of the game was quick while still allowing players to live out their fantasies as a 17 th century buccaneer in the untamed Caribbean. |
