I’m not sure that there are many people clamoring to download Game Gear titles onto their 3DS, and, if there are, those people are probably weirdos. Think about it. The Gameboy and The Game Gear were mortal enemies in the early 90s, and their fan bases did not overlap in the slightest. If you were a Game Gear fan, then all of the Gameboy titles were stupid, and vice versa. However, I suppose that it’s time I put all of my gaming-related prejudices in the same forgotten drawer with my New Kids on the Block CDs. Thank God things have changed. 
Nintendo hasn’t clued us in on when the titles will be available on U.S. shores, but Nintendo fans have waited for twenty years to play these games. They can probably wait a little longer. By Josh Engen |
