Although the 3DS will ship with the ability to take 3D pictures, the GDC Keynote address today noted that a firmware update coming this summer will give you the ability to record 3D video using the 3DS’ dual outer cameras.  In addition to adding the video camera functionality, the update will also include a new Internet browser for the 3DS platform. No technical details were given on either of these elements during the event, but it is good to know that these features are still in the works for the 3DS. |
