Though we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer for the 3DS to release here in the US, the handheld system has already been on sale for a week in Japan. So, how did it do? Pretty well! The numbers are in for first week sales and the 3DS managed to move 374,764 units.  Though this number is a little bit lower than the sales of the original DS hardware (which shipped more than 400,000 units in its first week), it is still very good considering the 3DS is technically an evolution of the DS brand, and the 3DS launch title lineup is not as stellar as some as originally hoped. |
