The Games with Gold freebie announcements for November 2015 are here, and it feels like Microsoft is going out of its way to do something a little special for Xbox 360 owners this month. Perhaps it’s because, starting next month, all Games with Gold Xbox 360 games will work on the Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility. Whatever the reason, it’s a good lineup of some more than decent games.
The Xbox One exclusive titles for Games with Gold are Pneuma: Breath of Life and Knight Squad , both of which are new games. Pneuma is normally $20, but will be free from November 1-30. Knight Squad comes up on November 16 for free, and won’t cost subscribers a dime until December 15, when it will retail for $15.
The two Xbox 360 games for November’s Games with Gold were originally retail titles. DiRT 3 will be available starting November 1 and ending November 15. It will be replaced by Dungeon Siege III on November 16 through 30. DiRT 3 is the better of the two, but Dungeon Siege III is more than worth it for free.
