In January, rumors surfaced that Modern Warfare 3 would be a prequel featuring the popular character Ghost. In the most recent UK Official PlayStation Magazine, they lend credence to these rumors. It is still no more than rumor, but OPM has referenced “inside whispers” that suggest these rumors might be true.  Assuming these rumors are true, why is Infinity Ward creating a prequel when the fate of Soap and Captain Price was left in such a dramatic fashion? If this turns out to be a prequel, Call of Duty may run the risk of losing fans simply because they refuse to conclude such a dramatic storyline. |
