OK, here’s something that could have potential if it’s executed well. The Pokemon Company, Nintendo, and Niantic, developers of Ingress , are working on Pokemon Go for smartphones. The game is going to let people see and catch Pokemon in the real world.
People who download Pokemon Go will be able to scour their real-life environment for Pokemon. If one is seen through the phone, it can be “captured.” Creatures you’ve caught can be battled or traded. It looks like there could even be cooperative events to catch legendary Pokemon like Mewtwo.

There will also be a Pokemon Go Plus wristband. This is a Bluetooth device that connects to your phone and works with the game. When a Pokemon or another trainer is nearby, it will vibrate so you can try and catch or play.
Pokemon Go will be released in 2016 on both Android and iOS devices.
