OK, here’s a question for you. Do you still care about Pokemon Go Plus? You know, it’s the Bluetooth peripheral designed to work with Pokemon Go? You wear it, it vibrates or lights up when you’re near a Pokemon or Poke Stop. You can press the button to catch Pokemon you’ve already caught before? Well, if you do, it’ll be out on September 16.
The catch is, Pokemon Go Plus is pretty expensive. It’ll be $34.99 for the device. You also need to have Bluetooth 4.0 on an Android device to connect to it. Naturally, you’ll also have to Pokemon Go on and running. Which means it’ll be quite a drain on your battery.
I’d advise you to wait on Pokemon Go Plus, if you really are interested. The holidays are coming up. It could go on sale. Or, it could eventually see a drop in price due to people giving up on the app. Don’t get too invested in this game until you see if it has the staying power to last a few months.
