Goats and Rocket Cars Clash in Worms WMD

Goats and Rocket Cars Clash in Worms WMD

If you grew up playing PC games in the ’90s, then you undoubtedly have a deep-rooted love of Worms . Worms is violent, adorable, challenging, and super fun to play with friends. For over 21 years now, we’ve been aiming at these pink little squishies and unleashing all kinds of weaponized hell. We can’t get enough, and we’re super excited about Worms WMD , which launches on August 23. Today in a press release, developer Team 17 revealed the Worms WMD All-Stars Pre-Order Edition , which comes with tons of weapons, masks, and content from some of our favorite games. There’s actually way more than I can list in a single article, but I’ll go over some of the best stuff included:

  • Rocket League Worms fans worldwide are eager to cause mayhem with the all-new, mega-powerful Tank in Worms W.M.D, but wait until they get their hands on the Rocket League Octane Battle-Car! Soccer meets driving meets Worms. What’s not to like?
  • Goat Simulator – Use the Goat-on-a-Rope weapon to strike fear into the hearts of your enemies as the goat swings around the gorgeous digitally painted 2D landscapes using its sticky tongue to hone in on them! Laugh maniacally as the homicidal maniac with hooves explodes, turning your opponents’ troops into worm meat! We also have a pretty cool Goat Simulator three mask set. Because, why not?
  • Saints Row IV – The most outrageous, over-the-top action franchise in videogames arrives in Worms W.M.D in the form of the Dubstep gun from Saints Row IV . This baby can inflict massive damage whilst making pedestrians (and worms) dance. Yes, dance. Team17 is proud, and slightly nervous, to announce that the Dubstep Gun will be bringing the dance-pocalypse as one of our mounted guns in honour of this awesome weapon.
  • Yooka-Laylee – Dress your worms up as one of gaming’s most anticipated double acts with the awesome Yooka-Laylee seven mask set!

The Xbox One and Steam versions of Worms WMD also come with exclusive content in the form of Rare All-Stars and Team Fortress 2 content, respectively. All of the extra content listed above (and more) can be yours as along as you pre-order the All-Stars Pack edition of Worms WMD before August 23. It’ll set you back $30, but if you love Worms , you know you can’t put a price-tag on love. Enjoy the All-Stars Pre-Order trailer below.
