If you’re old enough to remember the days of Mortal Kombat setting the arcade scene on fire, then you probably lost your fair share of quarters to the incredibly difficult sub-boss known as the mighty Goro!
It looks as though the Shokan warrior will once again be making his return, as CheatCC has recently learned he will be included as a pre-order bonus in the upcoming game. NetherRealm Studios has not yet confirmed which retailer will get the exclusive, but we’ll keep you posted regarding these details once we know more.
So far, the roster of new vs. old fighters coming to MKX has been pretty even handed. To date, the classic returns include the likes of Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kano, Jonny Cage (rumored), Sonya (rumored) and now Goro (although the main baddie has yet to be revealed). While it could be anyone, many expect the Mortal Kombat 4 boss Shinnok to make an appearance.
Mortal Kombat X comes to all next-gen consoles in 2015.
