Here’s the thing about the last and current generation of video games. They’re so complex that they end up needing quite a few patches to get them working right. The problem is, sometimes these updates create even new issues. This has happened with Grand Theft Auto V ‘s PC adaptation, now that the Ill Gotten Gains Part 2 1.28 patch has been released.
You know it’s bad when even Rockstar Games is admitting GTA V is messed up because of a new update. People who have acquired the patch, something that would have happened automatically with Steam, could experience stuttering and greatly reduced frame rates. Rockstar hasn’t stated what it is about the update that causes such complications.
However, the fact that Rockstar is aware of the GTA V problems is a positive sign. The official report says it is looking into the issues, which could mean a fix will be available soon.
