Guitar Hero Live Pre-Order Promotion Push

Guitar Hero Live Pre-Order Promotion Push

Companies always want people to pre-order games. They want that assurance that copies are going to move at launch, when they’re most expensive and need that initial push. Which is probably why we’re now finding out what Guitar Hero Live ‘s pre-order promotions are, though they’re not exactly stunning.

GameStop has the “best” pre-orders for Guitar Hero Live. You get a Soundail poster, $19.99 worth of GHTV Cash to spend in the online mode on songs and such, a 30 day premium Pandora One, and access to an Avenged Sevenfold Premium Show that will be available in-game from October 20 to November 2. But hey, that poster is double sided!

If you pre-order Guitar Hero Live anywhere else, all you’re guaranteed is access to the Avenged Sevenfold Premium Show. Which could be cool, since it sounds like you get to “play” on the virtual stage with the band.

Guitar Hero Live will be released October 20 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U. The cheapest option is a $99.99 bundle that includes a guitar.
