Hear No Man’s Sky Before Playing the Game

Hear No Man’s Sky Before Playing the Game

It’s mostly accepted that some video games are indeed art. That means that their soundtracks can be very evocative and epic, so it’s always exciting when we get an opportunity to savor them outside of the game. We can do that with No Man’s Sky right now, which is nice since the game hasn’t even been released yet. Think of it as another way to build hype over something where we still aren’t sure how it plays.

65daysofstatic, an electronic post/math group from England, put together the entire No Man’s Sky soundtrack. They’ve done five studio albums so far, and No Man’s Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe is their second soundtrack. (The first was Silent Running , for a movie of the same name.) This soundtrack has 10 songs, all of which are immediately available on YouTube.

Here’s the No Man’s Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe track listing.

  1. “Monolith”
  2. “Supermoon”
  3. “Asimov”
  4. “Heliosphere”
  5. “Blueprint for a Slow Machine”
  6. “Pillars of Frost”
  7. “Escape Velocity”
  8. “Red Parallax”
  9. “Hypersleep”
  10. “End of the World Sun”

If you have 50 minutes to spare, you should absolutely listen to this soundtrack today. Here. I’ll make it easy for you. Go ahead, click that video and enjoy. It’ll really get you ready for August 9.
