Hideo Kojima has just turned 52. Happy Birthday Kojima. Some fans have wondered whether or not Kojima has been affected by his departure from Konami. In short, yes, but he’s not letting it get to him. The good reviews and fan adoration for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain have given him renewed purpose to continue creating. Posting on Twitter he said:
“Thanks everyone, I turned 52 and will keep creating in rest of my life.”
Ignoring the grammar problems (hey, you try writing that in Japanese!), we support you, Kojima.
Konami has since started hiring for the next Metal Gear game, even though Kojima wanted the series to end with V . Don’t let it keep you down, Kojima. Keep creating.
