Hyrule Warriors is being brought to the Nintendo 3DS. You know, in case anybody missed it when it was on the Wii U. While it will offer new content and characters for all 3DS owners, people who don’t have a New 3DS will be a little left out, as the 3D won’t be there.
The New 3DS is a more advanced model of the system with more horsepower within it, allowing games like Xenoblade Chronicles 3D to be played. Because Hyrule Warriors Legends is so intensive, what with so many enemies appearing onscreen at a time, the standard 3DS can’t handle that and stereoscopic 3D at the same time. Koei Tecmo sacrificed that to make sure the game ran properly.
The New 3DS will still feature 3D effects in Hyrule Warriors Legends when it is released in 2016.
