Now that we know the official release date for Gears of War 3, let’s talk about the beta. For those who picked up Bulletstorm, the invite-only beta will start in mid-April, according to an official Microsoft press release. However, what exactly will be in the beta will be up to members of the Gears of War Facebook fan page.  There will be a total of three modes and four maps in the beta, and fans on Facebook have been invited to help choose what content goes into the beta first. Though some content is likely already locked down, if there is one map or mode you are particularly looking forward to, best to get on over to Facebook sometime in the next month! |
