Kinect Star Wars Bundle Dated

Kinect Star Wars Bundle Dated

None

Hey, anyone remember that Kinect Star Wars game? The one that had you awkwardly leaning forward to dash at prequel trilogy foes, flailing your arms wildly in a hideous pantomime of lightsaber combat? If so, you might also recall that the title was delayed past its original release date to an unspecified time in 2012. Delayed along with It was the R2-D2 themed Star Wars Xbox 360 console, as well as the C-3PO gold controller and white Kinect with which it came.

The bundle now has a date: April 3. It includes the aforementioned special edition console, controller and Kinect with a 320GB hard drive and a copy of Kinect Star Wars for the price of $450. This was confirmed over Twitter by Larry Hyrb (also known as Major Nelson), who links to the Amazon.com page for the console. According to Amazon, the standalone game, Kinect Star Wars, will be available the same day.

If this is the title you’ve been waiting for, the one for which you’d buy a 360 and a Kinect, or if you’re just the most tremendous Star Wars fan in the world, it would appear that your wait is nearly over.
