The remake will contain new sequences that delve deeper into the story of popular Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep protagonist Aqua (no, a remade Birth By Sleep is not included in the package).
Originally the game was set to come out this December, but Square Enix has decided to push it back a bit in order to focus more of its resources on a different game – I’ll let you guess which one. Series creator Tetsuya Nomura stated in a Tweet (translated by Destructoid ) that the delay will allow his team to help with the release of Final Fantasy XV . The good news (for some of you) is that Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will sport some fancy PS4 Pro enhancements on day one, including higher resolution textures and more stable frame rates.
