Kirby Wii Gets New Name

Kirby Wii Gets New Name

None

The awesome new Kirby game that was showcased for the Wii at this past E3 has finally gotten a title. The game is now called Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, and it is now set to release on October 24th of this year. It is sure to be one of the last big first-party titles for the Wii before the Wii U comes out next year.

In our official E3 preview of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, we said that the game was tons of fun, as long as you were playing as Kirby. The second, third, and fourth players could play as Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee, but their move-sets were limited and they couldn’t solve any of the puzzles the first player could that required specific copyable powers.

Well, Nintendo has fixed this. Now, additional players can choose to be any of Kirby’s friends, or even a different color Kirby. So now, you are only stuck with the limited move sets of a helper character if you really like that move set. It just goes to show you that Nintendo is listening to their fans.
