Kirby Gets Creative And Hospitable

Kirby Gets Creative And Hospitable

None

Nintendo is using the recent release of their Kirby’s Return to Dreamland to stir up some creativity and goodwill in the masses of children who enjoy the pink puffball’s adventures. As a sponsor of the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s Starlight Fun Centers, found in select hospitals across the country, Nintendo wants to promote awareness of the foundation’s good work and help spread their message of helping others and making the world a better place.

To that end, they’ve posted a special Kirby coloring sheet on the game’s website, requesting that people download it and use it to demonstrate what super abilities they’d like to see Kirby have, and how he would use them to help others or aid a good cause. Nintendo will then post their favorite entries in an online gallery, viewable by all.

It’s a unique way to get individuals, especially children, involved in a worthy cause, serving as good publicity both for the Starlight Children’s Foundation and Nintendo, as well as one of their more under-appreciated characters.
