New Details For Kirby’s Dream Collection

None

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has lifted the veil on Kirby’s Dream Collection, officially giving a heaping of new details about the little pink fella’s 20th anniversary package for the Wii.

The celebratory set will include six games: Kirby’s Dream Land and Kirby’s Dream Land 2 for the Game Boy; Kirby’s Adventure for the NES; Kirby’s Dream Land 3 and Kirby Super Star for the Super Nintendo, and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards for the Nintendo 64. While those last four games have previously been available on the Wii as Virtual Console downloads, the two original Game Boy titles are being made available on consoles for the first time with the collection.

In addition, the pack will include the single-player challenge mode from last year’s Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, along with special “History of Kirby” feature, which looks back on the character through various concept art, episodes of the past Kirby TV show, and more.

Kirby’s Dream Collection will launch sometime this September for the Wii in Japan and North America, although no European details have been provided yet.
