The movie Kung Fu Panda came out in 2008. Featuring the voices of Jack Black, Dustin Hoffmann, Lucy Liu, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, and more, it was one of the year’s most successful films. Kung Fu Panda Premise
In Kung Fu Panda, you start as Po Ping, an unassuming giant panda who accidentally becomes the Dragon Warrior. Red panda Shifu begins training him, and they get the news that Shifu’s former apprentice Tai Lung has escaped from his prison cell. In the game’s Story Mode, you play as Po, upgrading his skills and health and buying him costumes as he searches for Tai Lung. In Multiplayer Mode, you can meet new characters and fight an array of bosses.
Kung Fu Panda Main Characters
Kung Fu Panda has a ton of quirky characters, most of whom come straight from the movie. The main characters of the game are:
- Po Ping: A clumsy giant panda with big dreams, Po is full of energy. He wants to become the valley’s Dragon Warrior.
- Shifu: A red panda kung fu master, Shifu is Po’s mentor.
- Tai Lung: The game’s main antagonist, Tai Lung is a power-hungry snow leopard who breaks out of prison to steal the Dragon Scroll.
- The Furious Five: A ragtag group of martial arts experts. Viper, Mantis, Tigress, Monkey, and Crane are Po’s heroes and his rivals at the same time.
