Man Posts, Then Removes, Leaked No Man’s Sky Videos

We had a blink-and-you-miss-it moment! OK, so here’s this cool thing that happened. Someone named Daymeeuhn allegedly paid $1250 on eBay for a leaked copy of No Man’s Sky . He posted about it on Reddit , of course. So, what do you do when you get a game early? You post footage on your Daily Motion account.

While the methods of acquisition may be uncertain, Daymeeuhn absolutely had a copy of No Man’s Sky . The videos were valid. (Keep an eye on that “were.” It’ll be important later.) Sean Murray, Hello Games’ founder and the creator of the game, actually asked people not to watch these videos on Twitter .

This, in turn, made Daymeeuhn feel guilty and get some backlash for the No Man’s Sky videos he had posted. Hello Games’ action also led to existing videos being removed from Daily Motion. So, due to Murray’s response, as well as other contributing factors, Daymeeuhn has decided to stop uploading videos.

Which means now we all have to wait for No Man’s Sky footage and gameplay until August 9, when it actually releases. Aw, man!
